Spring Testing

This is a quick reminder that state testing will begin on May 5th. We encourage all students to arrive on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best each day.

The attached letters include important reminders about testing logistics. Testing schedules will be shared next week, so please be on the lookout for that information.

Thank you for your continued support in helping your child feel prepared and confident.

There are just a few items left on our wish list and a couple of volunteer spots still open. If you’ve been thinking about jumping in—now’s the time!

Trust us… you’re going to want a front row seat to see these shenanigans come to life. 😎✨ It’s going to be big hair, big laughs, and BIG appreciation for our incredible team!

Literacy News

We’re in the final week of our reading challenge, and our students have already logged an incredible 181,000+ minutes of reading! What an amazing accomplishment.

Let’s finish strong—keep reading every day and don’t forget to log those minutes. Every page counts!

Students also have the chance to earn fun prizes from Mrs. Do, so stay motivated and keep those books open.

We’re so proud of the dedication and enthusiasm everyone has shown. Let’s make this last week our best one yet!

OCPS Code of Student Conduct Updates

As always, the OCPS Code of Student Conduct can be found HERE.

As we move closer to the end of the school year, we want to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining positive student behavior. Recently, we’ve seen an increase in tardies to class as well as an uptick in student horseplay.

We ask for your support in reinforcing expectations with your child. Being on time and demonstrating safe, respectful behavior helps ensure a productive and positive learning environment for all students.

Please remember that our Code of Student Conduct is in effect through the very last day of school. Let’s work together to finish the year strong, focused, and respectful.
