Literacy News

Our incredible Gotha community has already logged over 149,000 minutes of reading on Beanstack—and that’s something worth celebrating! 🎉👏

But we’re not done yet… our goal is 500,000 minutes by April 30th, and we know we can get there together!

Every page read, every chapter finished, and every minute logged brings us closer. Whether it’s bedtime stories, car ride reading, or a few extra minutes before lights out—it all counts.

Let’s keep the momentum going, encourage our readers at home, and show what the Gotha Tribe is made of.

👉 Log your minutes.
👉 Celebrate your progress.

OCPS Code of Student Conduct Updates

As always, the OCPS Code of Student Conduct can be found HERE.

We will continue to track tardies to class. Let’s put something into perspective…

If a student is just ONE minute late to ONE class each day for the next 7 weeks, that adds up to 35 minutes of lost instruction. That’s nearly an entire class period missed—just from being a minute late!

Now imagine if it’s more than one class… those minutes add up quickly.

Being on time means:
✔️ Starting strong
✔️ Staying on track
✔️ Making the most of every learning opportunity

Let’s finish the year strong by being where we need to be, when we need to be there. Every minute counts, and every moment matters!
