Literacy News

We know it is difficult to get kids to read outside of school. COnsider these tips!

Make it Their Choice & Make it Relevant
  • Let them choose: Allow teens to select their own books, magazines, or even articles about their favorite games, shows, or celebrities.
  • Connect to interests: Find books matching TV shows, movies, or biographies of people they admire.
  • Offer varied formats: Include graphic novels, audiobooks, and online articles, not just traditional books.

OCPS Code of Student Conduct & PBIS Updates

As always, the OCPS Code of Student Conduct can be found HERE.

We’re excited to share that students can earn Bear Bucks for making positive choices throughout the school day! Whether it’s showing kindness, staying on task, helping others, or demonstrating leadership, Bear Bucks are our way of celebrating great behavior.
Our Grizz Store is open every Friday, and students can use their Bear Bucks to “shop” for fun items and rewards. It’s a great way to encourage responsibility and positive decision-making.

Thank you for supporting our Grizz community as we help students grow and shine. You can donate items by clicking here!
