Help Out Our 8th Graders

Each Friday in January our 8th grade class is sponsoring HAT DAYS. Students and staff members can donate $1 to wear a hat. All donations support our 8th grade class in an effort to offset costs associated with Gradventure.

Literacy News

Did you know that statistics show reading significantly boosts teens' vocabulary (26% more words for daily readers)? In addition, reading increases empathy, and academic success, yet reading for pleasure is declining, with recent data showing fewer teens reading daily, highlighting a critical need to encourage this habit for better well-being and cognitive development. Teen readers generally outperform non-readers on tests, experience less stress, and develop stronger social skills. Please encourage your student to read at home - reading anything helps!
