In addition, reading increases empathy, and academic success, yet reading for pleasure is declining, with recent data showing fewer teens reading daily, highlighting a critical need to encourage this habit for better well-being and cognitive development. Teen readers generally outperform non-readers on tests, experience less stress, and develop stronger social skills. Please encourage your student to read at home - reading anything helps!
